WINE 101
No prior wine knowledge needed.  We introduce you to wine and wine terminology.  Learn a little about your favorite beverage in a "Snob-free Zone."

Wine Appreciation
With a focus on the Big 6 grape varieties (Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon), students gain basic knowledge and vocabulary of 85% of wine sold in the USA.  Attendees will learn about each based on appearance, aroma, palate and body.  Our goal is to give you a basic wine vocabulary to better buy wine at a wine shop or your favorite local restaurant.

Intermediate Wine Appreciation
We go beyond the Big 6 wine varieties and learn about other popular wines like Pinot Grigio/Gris, Syrah/Shiraz and Tempranillo.  We study oak aging, tannin levels, "old World" styles, and proper wine storage and service.  Lastly, we discuss food and wine pairings.

Advanced Wine Class, Part I
In our effort to continue your wine adventure, we created a new seminar to follow-up Intermediate Wine Appreciation Class.  We will cover Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Cotes du Rhone and Fortified Wines.
